Isaac joined the Orbis Cascade Alliance as Executive Director in December 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading and empowering the Alliance central staff; for the implementation of the strategic goals, policies, and financial and administrative functions of the organization; and for partnering with the Board of Directors and member institution leaders to define and realize the Alliance’s intended impact. Prior to joining the Alliance, Isaac worked in a variety of library roles at Pacific University, most recently serving as Dean of University Libraries for eight years. Isaac holds a PhD in Education & Leadership from Pacific University, an MLIS from the University of British Columbia, and a BA in English from Kenyon College.
