Collaborative Technical Services Symposium

Thank you again to all who participated in the Symposium last month. We had excellent turnout, interesting discussions, and learned a lot.
The notes from the small and large group discussions are now posted.
Bob Thomas's presentation about Alma's Network Zone is now posted.
If you attended and have not yet filled out the evaluation form, please do so. We will use it to plan future activities.

Keep up to Date on CTST activities

One theme repeated at the Symposium was the desire to know more about what the Collaborative Technical Service Team is doing. I am working to post minutes of the Team and the Working Groups meetings so that staff can check in and read about activities. Currently, the Team and Cataloging Working Group minutes are up to date. Take a look!

I am also working to develop a central location on the Alliance website to post documents related to Collaborative Technical Services generally. Stay tuned.

CONSER project reminder

The Collaborative Technical Services Team created a funnel for updating and correcting CONSER serials records. This is a reminder to Cohort 1 libraries that you can submit your requests online.

The Alliance's Strategic Agenda Update

The Council will soon be considering the latest draft of the new Orbis Cascade Alliance Strategic Agenda. The process is documented on the Strategic Planning Group's website  and there is a link to outcomes developed at the July Council retreat. The latest draft of the Vision, Mission, and Strategic Agenda is linked from the September 30th agenda for the Board.
