The Systems Community Engagement Standing Group directs the professional development activities of the Systems Program. The group is composed of 5-6 staff from Alliance institutions who are familiar with library technologies, such as the Shared Integrated Library System (SILS), authentication and student information systems, APIs, Analytics, and other tools of interest to the community. Each year, the group:

• Sets the agendas of Systems open calls, including the monthly Tool Tip demonstrations.
• Discusses ongoing issues in the Systems community to continually assess what trainings, documentation, or other support is needed by Alliance members.
• Organizes virtual and in-person events for Systems, such as summer meetings and webinars.
