The team provides advice and feedback to the Collaborative Workforce Program Manager (CWPM), who serves in an ex officio capacity on the team.

The Collaborative Workforce Team provides broad oversight and leadership for shared human resources of the Alliance, both consortium and member library staff. The team is responsible for implementing and refining a model for shared work based on Alliance principles and guidelines. As experts for the consortium, the team develops and assesses shared workflows, training, documentation, and professional development in support of Alliance initiatives. The team contributes to the oversight for Alma Acquisitions and Resource Management as an application through the Technical Services Working Group and in collaboration with other programs and teams.

The team supports the Collaborative Workforce Program, including Technical Services.

The Collaborative Workforce team formed out of the Alliance's current Strategic Agenda, completed in 2014.

The team continues, unites, and extends the work of previous teams and groups marrying the policy and shared work explorations of the Collaborative Technical Services Team and the focus on using Alma for resource management of the Shared ILS implementation working groups.
