I am a Program Manager at the Orbis Cascade Alliance, providing support and leadership in the Systems area.
From July 2013 through March 2015, I served as the Alliance's Shared ILS Program Manager. During this period, I was the Alliance-side project manager for the migration of 31 institutions to the Alma management and Primo discovery services. I later served as the Alliance-side manager for the later migrations of Whitworth University and Clackamas Community College to the Alliance's Alma/Primo.
I worked for more than 20 years as an automation and systems librarian at three ARL institutions. At Texas A&M University, I was part of a small team that supported the opening of the West Campus Library, a highly-automated library facility. At the National Library of Medicine, I served on the team that supported the implementation of the Relais document delivery solution, which converted NLM's print-based ILL and Onsite Photocopy Service workflows from print to electronic format. I worked in systems projects and operations at Washington State University from 1999 to 2013. At WSU, I supported the creation of online digital collections (including the Northwest Digital Archives, now Archives West) and circulation-related services. I described some of my work during this period in publications available in the WSU Research Exchange repository. I served as Head, Library Systems at Washington State University from 2006 to 2013.
