Return Unwanted INN-Reach Items |
Sometimes the requesting patron does not pick up an item, and library staff return it to the Owning Site without the item being checked out to the patron. Use Return Unwanted to "clear the hold shelf;" so that the status of the item is updated up through the final checkin at the Owning Site.

| 1). | Print the INN-Reach Holdshelf Report |

| 2). | Pull the corresponding items from the Holdshelf |
To Return Unwanted INN-Reach Items: Scanning and Returning the Items |

| 1). | Change the current mode to INN-Reach-Return Unwanted Mode |
| 2). | Scan the barcode of each item pulled from the Holdshelf |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 3). | Send each item that you scanned to its owning site |
|
For each INN-Reach item scanned in Return Unwanted Mode, the system will: |

|
| Pickup Anywhere (PUA) items appear on the "Received Too Long" report at the patron institution, not the PUA site. To identify PUA items on your Holdshelf (patron from another institution), go to Pickup Anywhere-Holdshelf mode, then select Show Expired Holds. | |
