Searching local record numbers in Summit union catalog

Local bib., item, and checkin record numbers are indexed and searchable in the union catalog. Because these record numbers come from various systems and might be repeated, they are made distinctive by adding the institution code as the prefix. Remember, the local record number check digit (last character) is omitted.
