In addition to the standard information and reporting capabilities of an INNOPAC system (see the Management Information section in the INNOPAC User Manual), each member institution in an INN-Reach System has the ability to:
A Local Server can check the status of its link to the Central Server, i.e., the number of records waiting to be sent and processed in the Central Server's transaction (bibtemp) file. This information is useful in determining whether or not the Central Server is processing local transactions.
To see the status of the link to the Central Server, select the following sequence of options from within the MANAGEMENT INFORMATION subsystem at the Local Server:
I > INFORMATION about the system
F > FILE information
S > SYSTEM status
The SYSTEM status display includes a "Transaction File Statistics" section, which contains lines similar to the following :
Link to Summt starts at 74464, and has 14643 records, file is 5% full.
Summt transaction file has 478588 blocks, 1730 not processed. File is 24% full.
The first line describes the link to the Central Server, Summit, which is implemented as a circular file. The start position increases as records are added to the link file; when the maximum start position is exceeded, the start position reverts to zero.
Watch for trouble signs

If the start position does not change, and the number of records in the link file is increasing, call Innovative.
If the link file fills up, it will stop control; call Innovative if this file is close to 100% full.
The second line in the "Transaction File Statistics" section (see example above) is included so that the Local Server can see whether or not the status of the Central Server's transaction file is affecting the link. In other words, the second line is a report on status of central machine; it is not a report about the local machine or the link between the two.
More than one system:
If an INN-Reach Local Server belongs to more than one INN-Reach System, the SYSTEM status screen displays information about the link to each system.
On Local Systems with two INNOPAC machines, the status of the Central Server's bibtemp is included only when the SYSTEM status option is selected on the second machine; when the SYSTEM status option is selected on the first machine, information about the second (local) machine's transaction file is displayed instead.
At Local Servers that have the Separate Transaction Queues feature enabled, the Transaction File Statistics reflects whether the control program is processing transactions from separate queues. The primary queue is labelled NON-CIRC. All other queues are labelled CIRC <n>.
A Local Server may monitor whether their INN-Reach circulation transactions have been sent to the Central Server or are waiting to be sent.
To do this, select the following sequence of options from within the MANAGEMENT INFORMATION subsystem at the Local Server:
I > INFORMATION about the system
F > FILE information
C > CIRCULATION status

When you select CIRCULATION status, you will see a screen similar to:

The number of transactions waiting to be sent should be '0' since the system quickly sends the transactions to Central. If you see a number here, you should call Innovative to make sure transactions are being sent to Central correctly. For Local Servers that participate in more than one INN-Reach System, each System has a transaction line:
0 transactions waiting to be sent to SUMMT
0 transactions waiting to be sent to <SYSTEM2>
Repeat warning: Call Innovative Interfaces Inc. if the number of transactions is greater than 0; it means the file is stuck!
The Local Server may use the Circulation STATISTICS option in the MANAGEMENT INFORMATION subsystem to generate statistical reports based on local circulation activity. In the character-based system, information about circulation activity involving sites other than the local site can be found using:

Transactions by TITLE
Select the option the INN-Reach Circ submenu to organize the INN-Reach Circulation statistics according to the title of the items that are being requested. You can generate reports by Title, Author, and Call#.
The system can include the P TYPE(s) of the patrons who requested each item or the central I TYPE(s) of the item themselves. Select and under the TYPE submenu to toggle between these two options. Title reports can contain statistics for the current or previous month. Select or under the DATA RANGE submenu to change the time setting. You can view statistics for the entire consortium or for specific libraries by selecting the and options the LIMIT BY submenu, respectively
Transactions by SITE
Select the option under the INN-Reach Circ submenu to organize the INN-Reach Institutional Checkout Statistics. You can generate reports by various date ranges, including Yesterday, DBY (Day before yesterday), Month to date, Year to date, User specified date, or Last month.
