Charge

 This working group will develop and maintain standards for encoding and presentation of NWDA finding aids. Look at new or modified tools for encoding, particularly alternatives to XMetaL that are less costly, or other tools that are easier to use, like web templates. Recommend changes/updates to the Best Practices in light of other standards changes (i.e. EAD schema) or emerging standards and explore the need to make NWDA standards compatible with those of other consortia.
