WorldCat Local

In conjunction with the Orbis Cascade Alliance's partnership with OCLC to develop WorldCat Navigator, we have agreed to a group price that provides Alliance members with an option to implement WorldCat Local. Members contract directly with OCLC to purchase WorldCat Local or seek answers to technical questions. The Alliance will communicate with contacts listed below and may sponsor events in support of member efforts to implement or better understand WorldCat Local.

  • FY09/10 clarification of price and timeline 
    The annual pricing provided covers a 12-month subscription period that begins with the acceptance of your WorldCat Local implementation.  OCLC will invoice the library at the end of the month in which the library accepts the service.  To enable Orbis Cascade Alliance members to secure the FY09 price listed, a library must order and accept WorldCat Local by June 30, 2009.  Billing can be scheduled for June 30, 2009, or July 31, 2009 enabling libraries to use either FY09 or FY10 funds.
