Courier MembershipCourier service is offered as a membership subscription program, with a fixed price for the entire year. The cost is billed annually at the beginning of the fiscal year (July through June).Annual price for the year ending June 30, 2008 for 5-day service, Monday through Friday, $3,672 courier fee plus $700 administrative fee (again, for the year ending June 30, 2008). For new Dropsites there is a one-time fee of $500 to purchase a supply of reuseable courier bags. Beginning February 1, 2008 there is also a start-up fee of $350. This will be charged to all Dropsites beginning or changing service. Annual price for the year starting July 1, 2008 increased by 16% with the administrative fee remaining the same. The annual price for FY 09 (starting July 1, 2008) will be: for 5-day per week service $4,611 plus $700 administrative fee $5,311 for 2-day per week service $2,506 plus $700 administrative fee $3,206 The Alliance also offers an optional service for 2 days a week, which may be appropriate for some libraries.
