About Dropsites and Participating Libraries

All participating libraries: Alphabetical listing of all participating libraries, and the Dropsite for labeling a package being sent to that library.

Background Vendor. The Orbis Cascade Alliance has contracted with Senvoy to provide service in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Senvoy, with headquarters in Portland, Oregon, has extensive experience in courier service, on-demand delivery, and warehousing.

History. Background information on setting up a courier program (1998), RFP (2000, 2005), transition from one vendor to another.

Reports. Service and Transit Time surveys; other reports.

All dropsite contacts and alternates are subscribed to the courier email list. Other staff at libraries participating in the courier service (drop-sites and forwarding sites) are invited to subscribe to the list.

Membership Courier service is offered as a membership subscription program, with a fixed price for the entire year. The cost is billed annually at the beginning of the fiscal year (July through June). Current price per month: 5-day service, Monday through Friday, $331 courier fee plus $59 administrative fee. There is a one-time fee of $500 to purchase a supply of reuseable courier bags. Alliance also offers an optional service for 2 days a week, which may be appropriate for some libraries. Contact Orbis Cascade Alliance to discuss starting or changing courier service, and for forms to begin service.
