Alliance staff: In September, Alliance staff will send a news release to all member libraries. In October this release will be sent to a variety of professional news sources as detailed below. Alliance staff will also produce a bookmark that can be used by all member libraries to promote Summit in the fall.

Member libraries: Member libraries will each handle on-campus and local news sources in any way they determine to be appropriate. In addition, a number of members have volunteered to write Op Ed articles for news sources covering broad regions that include several member libraries. See the list of these assignments below. Members may wish to use the general news release prepared by staff as a starting point for local PR or Op Ed articles. Please send copies of all published articles to the Alliance offices.
